I am deeply saddened by the mindless violence in France today.
My heart is with the French people and those living in France, or even just touched by the sadness that has reached out into the world.
My father is a 9/11 survivor, and I know the uncontrollable and incomprehensible fear and heartache of not knowing if your loved ones are safe – and if they are – knowing that so many others will not go home to their family.
